#wsmcinseoul DAY 2

Pardon my bird face, outfit for second day! Wore more layers to fight the weather, but it wasn't as cold as yesterday -_- loving the weather nonetheless! :D

We left our hotel quite late, so first LUNCH!
Went to try this famous ginseng chicken, but the queue was horribly long. Settled for another local eatery.

Top left, spicy mee hoon kueh
Top right, cold noodles in red pepper sauce, my fave for this meal :)
Bottom left, kimchi fried rice. 10x nicer than singapore'a
Bottom right, rice with beef and mushroom.

Yummy and cheap! Total for 4 was about 20SGD!

Afterwards we headed for some sight seeing at Gyeongbok palace and Samcheongdong.

I wanna be a Korean princess living in the olden times :(

My godma who joined us today

Our failed jump shot LOL, we look quite happy haha

Headache, toothache, stomachache Vogue supermodel poses LOL

Wasn't that cold, so I took out my scarf and casually put on my head. Didn't really understand why the 3 of them laughed so much......

So pretty:)

Quite annoyed with the wind at this area. Made me look like some crazy woman -.-

There were many many many cafés around. Pretty Cath Kidston cafe. Didn't eat there though.

Tea break at Coco Bruni, famous for their chocolate I think!

Tried their (pricey but super pretty & yums) blueberry white chocolate.

Also had a very yummy cherry chocolate cake. Their coffee isn't very good though. Our tea-break costed more than 30SGS.

Samcheongdong!

It was a Saturday, thus extremely crowded -_- got shoved around countless times zzz

The flower shops in Seoul are all so pretty!! At first i thought the flowers outside were fake and didn't give two hoots. This was the second one I saw and I was happily WOAH WOAH WOAH-ing and snapping pics (and sniffing the real flowers).

Next, we went Namdaemun for shopping, which wasn't very good (Myeongdong's better). It's kinda like Chinatown, not so much to our liking.

Bought "100% made in Korea" seaweed and damn nice banana chocolate mMmmmmMmmm

Pojong Macha (road side tent) for dinner!
Blurry shot cause of the plastic film thingy. You pick from the stuff and they will do it for you, super quickly

We had gimbap, seafood pancake and damn damn damn damn nice beef bulgogi + mushrooms omggggggggg.

Silly Chantel wanted to try soju, which really was just less strong vodka neat.

Last part of the day, we went back to Myeongdong since godma didn't get to go yesterday. We're even thinking of going back again.

Went to Amaeican Apparel to check it out. Not bad but way to overpriced.

Super nice sausage with bacon, crispy chicken and this other sausage wrapped in mashed potato + fries.
Quite hard to imagine if you haven't seen one, but we greedily started eating before any pics could be taken.

After walking around for a little while, we went to eat AGAIN -_-

Make-up waffle since the popular Beans Bin (famous for their mango waffles) was too crowded.
Simple ham and cheese sandwich which was quite good, surprisingly!

Finally, after I don't know how many meals, we headed back to the hotel. Rest earlier since we're gonna go climb a mountain tomorrow LOL.

Oh ya, we also tried the true blue Korean strawberries. Quite different from the ones in Singapore. Smoother skin, so much sweeter and cheap too!

I love the weather here so so so so much I don't wanna go home :'(
All the nice coats and scarves and boots. I like guys in coats hehe :)

However, it's kinda bulky and troublesome wearing so much. Makes me sleepy and tired more easily too. Mehz.

Looking forward to day 3 whoop whoop

p.s. Spent almost all my money already :(

#wsmcinseoul DAY1

First trip of the year!
Seoul with Samantha and Chantel! Chantel's mum joined us the next day too :)

We took a 5.5 hour flight to Seoul, Incheon. The flight was relatively comfy with a not bad leg space and not bad seats. Coincidentally met my not-so-close auntie on the same flight LOLOL

Went to our hotel @ Myeongdong (N FourSeason) for a quick change, then we headed to Hongdae shopping area.

We somehow got lost, ended up at Hapjeong subway area. Had a nice lunch at a rather traditional eatery.

We had assorted dumplings, ramen, bibimbap and tofu stew (not in pic). With free kimchi and other side pickle stuff. They were all damn good!!! Total bill came up to be around $20 or something, pretty reasonable. Good start to our trip!

Next, we spent a bit of time trying to find this doggy cafe called Bau House cafe. It's not like what I imagined/seen in Singapore!

The doggies actually belongs to the shop itself. All very tame and friendy :)
Biggest and fattest golden retriever I've seen. He's so fluffy I'm gonna die~

One of the guys in the shop carrying the fatty haha, so cute omgggg.

Ginormous husky

This corgi puppy I fell in love with when we were about to leave. Super cute like baby, bit on my scarf LOLOL. Can I bring you home please~~~~

Then we took a train to Hongik Uni station, where the shopping stuff are actually at. Of course, a subway shot lol.

Behind the scenes LOL

Shopped a lottttttt especially on those masks and stuff. The area was huge and hundreds of stores, at every corner.
All the walking and shopping made my nose red and about to fall off.

Fatty tired me while Sam and Chantel take ootd shots around. Pretty nice area, I like~

Free instax! Haha so cute

One of our to-go places was this Style Nanda flagship store!

Style Nanda's photo booth! Hehe

Cool pics that Chan took (and I stole LOL)

More than $200 worth of stuff

We had chicken & beer for dinner! Fried chicken with beer is kinda a must-have! Especially since I'm watching 'You Who Came From The Stars', the female lead actress loves chicken & beer LOLOL

IT IS DA BOMBXZ! We finished the entire plate of chicken AND fries

The giant Hoegarden we shared

My top-up for our second round of shopping at Myeongdong~
Bought tons of masks again. I saw 132k instead of 32k. Bloody hell extra 100k only realised when I'm back in hotel -_-

That's all for day 1~~~~~
