Day 3's temperature was higher, about 17 degrees :( not as cold as the first day, when my nose felt like it was dropping. According to the weather forecast, it'll only get colder the day we after we leave -_-
We followed our instincts, and trekked up in our trusty sneakers which failed us LOL
This is the more relaxing part. Didn't have any time or energy to take a pic of the really challenging parts. Too busy trying to balance LOL
Actually such trekking is quite comfortable, especially in such cooling weather. Also quite good for health. Maybe that's why there are hardly any fat Koreans around.
We trekked for a total of 1 hour and 30 minutes. We decided to stop here, not because we couldn't go up any more, but because going down would be 10x tougher X.X
There were a lot of nice uncles in full trekking gear who helped Chantel and Sam get down LOL
One of them led us all the way down and even drove us to Hyehwa, where we had our lunch! Super nice and funny dude and his wife.
After lunch, we crossed to the opposite street. Apparently, Hyehwa's a young people district. Many stalls, kinda like pasar malam.
We finally tried the twister potatoes!
We went to Lotte My Super (LOL)
Bought OREO CEREALS!!!!!!!!! So hairpyyyyyy~ Discontinued worldwide except in Korea somehow.
This Kim Soo Hyun is like every where. Literally at every corner.
I didn't even realise that I watched one of the dramas he acted in before. I already liked him then hehehe.
We went back to our hotel to put down our stuff, change and have a short rest before going to Dongdaemun!
We took quite a bit to find the right place we wanted to go though.
Albeit having 8 full storeys, there wasn't much for us to buy.
Their most popular mango one was oos, so we had strawberry instead. And IT WAS REALLY DAMN BLOODY AWESOME. Beats all waffles in Singapore hands down! The cream so light, strawberries so sweet. Both go so well with the waffle omg. Salivating as I'm typing this now.
Took some old skool neoprints.
We didn't really enjoy DDM except for the dance showdown thing outside one of a mall, so we headed back to our fave Myeongdong. (1 or 2 stops by subway)
OMG I just realised that we go to Myeongdong EVERYDAY
It's not bad............... Meat is very soft and tender. A little bland, quite healthy, nice to try, but not so much for us I think.
Went to buy more stuff LOL then had some yumyum street food (fave sausages and Nutella crepe) before ending our day.
I love the street food omgggggg. Getting so fat I can't suck my tummy in -_-
So excited to have more street food tomorrow~~~~
Eat all I want here, and diet plus exercise for real when I'm back to Singapore. (self consoling in process)
