#wsmcinseoul DAY 5 (last full day)

:( last full day before leaving tomorrow SIGHHHHHHHH. This trip has been really nice. So thankful for the people I have around me who loves me so much :)

Anyway today is a really fun and interestif day, stepping out of comfort zones and doing stuff I've never done before haha.

Woke up early for a very rich brunch.
Took a train to Noryangjin, to their fish market, kinda like a wholesale fishery.

LOOK AT THE GIANT TIGER PRAWNS OMGGGGGGGGGG

We got abalones, a hairy crab, huge scallops, clams and tiger prawns.
Afterwhich, we were brought up to a cosy restaurant at the second level, above the market.

All so yummyyyyyy~~~
Apart from paying for the ingredients, we gotta pay a "cover charge" and for the restaurant to cook our seafood. Came up pretty pricey. About SGD85 for ingredients and almost SGD80 for the restaurant charges. -_- but still the seafood was really fresh and yums.

Then, we decided to go to the local public shower, or jimjilbang. It's one of the biggest jimjilbang around.

Us in our oversized jimjilbang attire for the fermentation room. It's little rooms with e.g. salt crystals, set at like a certain tempterature, 50-60degrees. There are like jade fermentation room, charcoal room, oxygen room, an ice room at -20degrees and some other salt room at bloody hell 86degrees wtf. All these are said to have healing properties.

Restless backside us jumped from room to room. Then we had their hard boiled eggs and mini melts ice cream which didn't taste very good.

Then Chantel & I went to the baths (gender separated). Clothes aren't allowed inside there, but it really isn't that bad or awkward when we were inside LOL. Fun experiencing something locals do :)

Then we went to Bau House cafe AGAIN!!! (It's at Hapjeong subway)
Bul-lee so cutesy and fatty

Welcome from this blackie

Enormous Alaskan malamute

This very very smart Border Collie brought his ball to us and kept making us throw to him. Hell lot of energy, I felt tired for him. But really, his intelligence amazes me.

Never seen a prettier dog. She looks like a princess. Her fur so soft and smooth.

This giant white dog that's so ginormous I can't call him a dog but a bear

*sniff sniff*

Mega melts

依依不舍的 left Bau House. Sigh I wanna work there :(

We went to Hongdae again! This time is more thorough shopping~
(Btw Hongdae has been chosen as our most favourite place, followed by Ewha and Myeongdong IMO)

First, dinner! Finally got to fave Korean BBQ and I really got to say that none in Singapore can be compared to this. It was really the bomb.
Charcoal instead of gas stove

They don't have a large variety, (most restaurants that we have been to don't, I prefer it this way; being good at a few, rather than average at many)

We ordered 2 portions of pork cheeks, and a portion of pork shoulder and beef.

Shopped around, and bought even more stuff. After that, our fave chicken and beer AGAIN! This is the same as the one we had on the first day. Yummmmmms.

And here's supper part 2
Puddings and jelly we got from Lotte Mart at Seoul Station after jimjilbang.

This entire trip was so much of eating I think I put on like 5kg -.-

Only half a day more in Korea tomorrow. From the first day, getting lost while trying to change trains, till today almost so sure about the areas we frequent, where to change trains, how to talk to the locals, interpreting what the locals say in Korean or their heavy Korean accented English.

Sigh feeling sad but happy at the same time. At least I diligently blogged about all days here. Months later, I can look back and be remembered of such fun times :)

Till tomorrow, anyeong~~~
